Halilly primarily works with independent, owner-led service businesses, including home and field services, commercial services, specialty trades, and similar businesses. The strongest fit is a business that wants clearer processes, ownership, visibility, or follow-through and is prepared to act on practical improvements.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers before you reach out.
FIT
Yes. A business does not need to be in crisis to benefit from clearer operations. Halilly can help address one recurring issue, strengthen a process that is becoming difficult to manage, or prepare the business for growth and added complexity.
FIRST STEPS
The Free Fit Call is an initial conversation about your business, what you are experiencing, and what you want to improve. It gives both sides a chance to ask questions, determine whether Halilly is a good fit, and identify a sensible next step. It is not a high-pressure sales presentation.
The Operational Assessment is a paid review of the relevant processes, workflows, tools, responsibilities, and information flow. Depending on the agreed scope, deliverables may include documented findings, prioritized opportunities, recommendations, process maps, checklists, templates, or an implementation roadmap. The exact deliverables are defined before work begins.
SCOPE, TIMING & INVESTMENT
Implementation projects are quoted separately based on the work the client chooses to move forward with. Before a project begins, Halilly confirms the approved scope, deliverables, timing, and fixed project price so you can decide whether to proceed.
The timeline depends on the number of business areas involved, the complexity of the issue, the availability of information and decision-makers, and the amount of implementation included. A focused engagement is generally shorter than a multi-system project. The expected timeline is included with the proposed scope.
Both are possible, depending on the agreed scope. Halilly can identify and prioritize improvements and can also support workflow design, documentation, tool configuration, automation, rollout, and adoption. Not every recommendation has to be implemented at once.
Halilly keeps participation focused. The owner is usually needed for context, priorities, and key decisions, while relevant team members may be included when their knowledge of a process is important. The expected level of involvement is outlined before work begins and depends on the scope.
WORKING TOGETHER
Yes. Halilly starts by understanding how current tools and professional relationships are working. Existing software is improved whenever practical, and replacement is considered only when there is a clear reason. Halilly can coordinate operational work with bookkeepers, accountants, technology providers, or other specialists while respecting each professional’s role.
Halilly works primarily remotely through video calls, screen sharing, shared documents, and structured follow-up. The owner and the people closest to the relevant process participate as needed; the entire team does not need to attend every conversation.
Yes, when it is useful. Some clients continue independently, while others choose periodic review, refinement, implementation support, or work in another business system. Ongoing support is scoped separately and is not required.
Halilly treats operational and business information as confidential and requests only the access needed for the agreed work. Sensitive systems, documents, and any specific data-handling requirements are discussed before access is provided.
SCOPE BOUNDARIES
No. Halilly may improve the operational flow around estimates, invoices, payments, approvals, reconciliation steps, and reporting, but does not provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, or financial advisory services. Those responsibilities remain with the appropriate qualified professionals.
